The Ministry & Who We Are
Journey To Christ Ministry just moved to Harrisonville, MO! Here we plan to use the land God's given us to steward, to provide training, camps, and retreats for people and other ministries. We want to build various outreach opportunities, a community garden, and community classes. With a Homesteading & Survival aspect, it will be a place that will make Disciples and be used to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Robert & Cherie Treese
Robert and Cherie were married in 2009 and have 3 children. Robert officially retired from the military in April of 2024. He served with the Navy as a Corspman, served with the Fleet Marine Force, and lastly with the Air Force. He is also a 15 year veteran in law enforcement, currently working as a Patrol Sergeant in a major metropolitan area. Cherie works tirelessly for our ministry, while homeschooling their 3 children. Together, they are the founders of Journey To Christ Ministry and currently serve as President and Vice President.
Daniel Morrow
Daniel is married with four children. They have homeschooled for a number of years. Daniel serves as the Security and Crisis Management Director for Concilium, an evangelical mission organization. He formerly served as a law enforcement officer for more than 17 years. Daniel serves as the ministry's Secretary. ​
Shawn is married with 5 children. In 2006, God called them to start Journey Church, a non-denominational church in Liberty, MO. Shawn serves as the founder and Lead Pastor. They have a heart to see people encounter God and experience the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in Heaven. Shawn serves a an Advisor on our board.

Tom DeWitt
Tom has been married for 30 years and have 3 children. Tom is the owner of two businesses and is an Elder at Journey Church. They are so excited and blessed to be a part of what God is doing in His Kingdom through Journey To Christ Ministry. He serves as the ministry's Treasurer.
Shelby Gray
Shelby Gray is married with 3 children. He owns 2 successful companies. All Climate HVAC & Owner of Lake Paradise Resort. He and his family have opened their hearts to us in the past and allowed us to hold retreats at their campground and he is also a part of our ministry's board.
